Skyjacker Hydro 7000 Shocks & Struts Reviews

Skyjacker Hydro 7000 rear shocks

Reviewed By Ron R (WILLIAMSTOWN, NJ) Reviewed for a 2012 Ford F-150 —9/8/2016 2:15 PM

My existing Fabtec rear shocks blew out after just 2 years so I ordered a pair of Skyjacker Hydro 7000 rear shocks for my 2012 F-150 with a 4" lift. The installation was easy, they look good and the ride is excellent, definitely way better then the fabtec shocks that were installed on my truck when I had the lift kit put on. Now I want to replace the front struts with new skyjackers but I cant find anything that will work with my 4" lift.

KYB Excel-G Shocks & Struts Reviews

Noticeable difference

Reviewed By Justin S (Goodrich, MI) Reviewed for a 1997 Ford F-150 —10/18/2017 6:17 AM

My truck is 20 years old with stock shocks so I figured they were due for a change even though mine weren't completely toast. Installion was as expected on an old vehicle from the northwest but nothing too bad. Took me 3.5 hours and I'm certainly no mechanic. After inspecting my old shocks, I'm glad I changed them. They were way less functional than the new KYB replacements. Suspension is significantly less soft and the quality of the KYB shocks looked very good, especially compared to the OE
