Gabriel Load Carrier Shocks Reviews

Impressive results

Reviewed By Scott B (YADKINVILLE, NC) Reviewed for a 1977 Jeep J-10 —10/15/2018 6:12 AM

I installed these shocks on the back of my 1977 Jeep J10 that is used as a farm truck. The back leaf springs are worn out, but I cannot justify spending the money to replace them at this time. These load carrier shocks improved the ride height by approximately 2 inches when the truck is empty. They also have eliminated the sag from hauling the loaded utility trailer and improved the ride quality while hauling and when empty. I'm very impressed with these shocks thus far.

Rancho RS9000XL Shocks & Struts Reviews

So far, so good...

Reviewed By Gary F (SAN DIEGO, CA) Reviewed for a 2008 Toyota Tundra —12/5/2018 4:59 PM

Pros: Definitely improved the ride and it is convenient that you can change the shock settings to whatever stiffness desired. Cons: Not entirely easy to turn the setting adjustment knobs. Access to the knobs are in a tight space and reading what number you are setting the Ranchos to is borderline impossible. If Rancho were to make the numbers more visible and make the setting knobs easier to adjust this would be a better shock.
