Not sure which 2005 Chevy Colorado Suspension Systems are right for you? We have over 6546 customer reviews, with an average rating of 4.5, to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Here's what some of our customers have said:

"I purchased a set of 4 Rancho shocks for my 2005 Chevy Colorado...I had a friend put them on for me and it didnt take long at all...hardest part was getting the dust covers on the rear shocks....I have taken a 600 mile road trip since the installation and i can definately tell a big difference in the ride...very smooth ...as for you your customer service...it is super...i ordered the shocks on sat and they were here on mon...thank you for a very positive experience all the way around...happy new yr" —Sandi E from Baxter, TN bought a Rancho RS5000 Shocks for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

"Replacing the torsion keys was super easy. The old ones out and the new ones in just a few minutes. The instruction were easy to follow and this was nice. The lift shackles for the rear, this is a different story. It took 6 hours of hammering and banging, using every lube and/or penetrating oil, nothing worked. I finally pressed the lower shackle bolts out. Needless to say I had to get new ones from the dealer, there is no aftermarket support for this application. So after getting new bushings and bolts the rest of the lift went together nice and easy. The Chevy Colorado now looks like it should have from the factory. You can't beat the price, and I happy with the kit overall." —William T from Colorado Springs, CO bought a ReadyLIFT SST Lift Kits for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

"Install was very easy. I'm not a gear head by any means, but the install on my Colorado couldn't have been easier. Loosen a bolt, throw the spacer in there, tighten the bolt. Repeat on the other side and you're done. Unfortunaltey, 7 years at one angle on my CV joint cause the sudden change in angle to cause the seal to leak. Something that was going to need fixing anyway." —Robert K from Aberdeen, MD bought a Traxda Leveling Kits for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

"My Colorado is a work truck used for my business, in the summer I carry a 35 gallon water tank in the back (along with everything else I need), when filled my suspension went beyond what the factory springs were meant to handle. With the Skyjacker AAL, NO problems anymore. Installation was easier than I thought it would be. (Not to say I didn't curse a few times). I would recommend to use new u-bolts (longer ones). Great product for the money I spent! I recommend it!" —Michael C from Fair Haven, VT bought a Skyjacker Add-A-Leaf Springs for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

"The kit was easy enough to install. I had the most problems with unloading the leafsprings. but overall was able to do it all in one day. Not too bad for the first lift i have ever installed. The kit arrived with no hardware ( nuts, bolts etc. ) when calling readylift directly they overnighted the necessary equip no questions asked. overall a great experience and product." —Stephen J from San Antonio, TX bought a ReadyLIFT SST Lift Kits for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

"installed the strut spacers and got the 2-3 inches i was looking for... goes great with a rear add a leaf for 2wd trucks that need a lift. installation took a little time though" —Paul G from Street, MD bought a Traxda Leveling Kits for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

"I love these shocks, the ride is smooth. I put these on my chevrolet colorado and definitely changed the ride quality better than the rancho shocks. Definetly think I got my moneys worth." —Erick A from Azusa , CA bought a Skyjacker Lift Kits for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

Bilstein B6 4600 Shocks & Struts

Great shocks

These are just what my truck needed. The only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5, is they need to be tied/strapped up. Having to push them closed to get the bottom bolts in was a pain. All in all these are worth the extra expense without question. View more reviews...

Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit

Great Product

I just bought the truck and found to be able to use a hitch hauler for my dirt bike , I needed airbags otherwise the truck squatted dramatically , they installed easily and I only needed 30 PSI to get the truck level , only thing I wish they had different was a single air fill instead of 2 separate fill fittings , the ride quality with them at minimum (5 PSI) is unaffected , the ride with them inflated (to what i needed) seemed slightly stiffer , but not stiff enough to be uncomfortable View more reviews...

Skyjacker Lift Kits

I wish I hade mor money

Great shock, and just what I expected. I wish now that I could get a deal on the lift kit without the shocks. I will not bad mouth this company (AA) or the shocks you cant go wrong with ether, Both are great and very reputable. With the economy the way it is and most of us can ony do what we can afford at any given time even though we want it all. It would be great if we could get package pricing on the rest of the dream. As far as the shocks buy them they work the way you will expect, and be there for the for the long haul. this is my 3rd set on 3 different trucks and I am happy with them (I keep buying them) View more reviews...

Your Suspension Not Cutting It? Top 10 Suspension Parts to Consider In 2021

Friends don’t let friends buy bad parts. Throw away that eBay link for that $200 coilover set, and don’t even think about cutting those springs! The truth is that if we’re talking about common upgrades on our cars/trucks, I would imagine that the suspension is one of the most often misunderstood systems on our cars.
