1999 Ford F 150 Suspension Systems

The suspension system on your car has two main jobs:
  1. Keeping your tires in good contact with the road as you travel
  2. Making sure your spine is still intact once you get there

Too much of one goal might allow the other goal to suffer a bit (depending on how you drive), so there is a balance to hit here. Depending on the vehicle's intended purpose, that balance might bias to one side more than another. Where we come in, is that we give you the tools to tweak that balance for your intended purpose, or maybe return it back to where it should be, if you're sitting on some worn out parts.

Diving deeper, your suspension system is also largely responsible for ensuring even tire wear, giving your steering a relatively neutral platform to do its thing, and allow for appropriate weight transfer under braking/acceleration/cornering to keep your car going where you point it.

"I've ordered from AutoAnything before and have been happy with my purchases. It took a little longer than expected to receive my shocks. "I bought these as replacements for the stock shocks that were still on the truck. What a difference they've made. Not only do they ride better with less roll, but they look good underneath, too. Air Lift Wireless Air Compressor System

Great Idea! Easy ro Install! Works good, not Great...

I have been using the air lift system for about a month now and am satisfied with my purchase. Installing it was as simple as 1.2.3. The hardest part was routing the power wire and air lines under the body in a fashion where they would not interfere with the moving parts on the vehicle. The only downside, the wireless connection seems to be sensative. When the system is connected to an ignition hot fuse, make sure your vehicle is on (running) for a few (15-30) seconds before pressing buttons on the remote. This gives the remote and manafold a chance to communicate first. I tried pressing a button too early and it would read FAIL, and then not work correctly until the power was recycled. Otherwise great product and very handy! View more reviews...

Air Lift WirelessOne Air Control System

Convenient System

The install was relatively easy. The only issue I had was deciding where to mount the compressor and how to connect to power. I did not like the idea of drilling a hole in my fuse box and jumping a fuse in order to make the connection. Other than that, everything was relatively easy to install. View more reviews...

Your Suspension Not Cutting It? Top 10 Suspension Parts to Consider In 2021

Friends don’t let friends buy bad parts. Throw away that eBay link for that $200 coilover set, and don’t even think about cutting those springs! The truth is that if we’re talking about common upgrades on our cars/trucks, I would imagine that the suspension is one of the most often misunderstood systems on our cars.
