Perfect compromise

Reviewed By David A (SYKESVILLE, MD) Reviewed for a 2019 Chevy Silverado —4/7/2020 3:32 AM

I did front and rear sumo springs. Since I only tow a trailer about 60 days a year i didn't want something that would compromise the ride the other 300 days a year. Dare I say it made the overall ride better because as a nice side benefit it seems to reduce body sway in turn. Use large pliers for leverage to twist them out. You also need a blunt pry bar to installation. You'll need an assistant too

Timbren Active Off Road Bumpstops Reviews

Expensive . . . but probably worth it!

Reviewed By William I (DUGWAY, UT) Reviewed for a 2007 Nissan Xterra —3/15/2020 9:15 AM

I have a 2nd gen Nissan XTerra with 3 inches of lift, so hitting potholes and and speed bumps with the factory bumpstops meant loud bangs and a shock to the system. I finally saved enough to get the Timbren Active Off Road Bumpstops. Installation took only about 1/2 hour per axle, and I only had to drill out 2 metric holes for the larger SAE bolts for the front pair. Impacts both on and off road are now MUCH more controlled and quieter. Had them on for only 2 weeks, they make a BIG difference!
