Very easy to install, did it in 30 mins by myself. Rails and snaps feel a little cheap but the cover is great quality. Most people said it was too tight and hard to snap. Mine was too easy and the cover has a lot of play. Could be a 1/2 inch wider on each side. I don't drive a lot so not sure if it saves gas. Best reviewed cover for the price. Would recomend to friends.

I ordered the BlackMax Tonneau Cover for my 2008 F150 Crew Cab. The cover was delivered to my door in two days and it took me all of 35 minutes to install. I live in Michigan so it's fairly cold in January. I put the frame together in the house and snapped the cover to the cab side of the frame then carried the unit to the truck. Follow the instructions and turn the snaps for cold weather fit prior to mounting on the truck. I drove 1,200 miles the next day and it kept everything in the back dry. Great fit, looks fantastic.

Really like the cover. Has a great look and went on very easy. My only complaint would be that I thought the cover would be a bit tighter but it could be that it was 96 degrees when I installed it. Maybe it will tighten up with cooler weather.

Installation of frame was simple after I realized there were two different size hold-down clamps, which they neglected to point out in the instuctions. Bow ends don't stike me as holding up if you take your cover on and off alot, which I do,hope they prove me wrong.Cover was a little tough to get on first time,it was a little cooler than it should have been. Would prefer fixed snaps not sliders. Have only had 2 weeks, looks great, snaps easier now that we've stretched it out a little bit.For the price it's a good buy.

This is a great product. I purchased this because my friend has the Platinum Classic version. His came with metal snaps where this one comes with the PVC plastic snaps and the side closest to the cab on his has a j-channel where the tarp slides into it. The BlackMax is snaps all around. Both his and mine require extra foam weather stripping at the front of the bed. I have bed caps so I require double thick. The installation was somewhat intuitive but the clamps provided didn't fit as snuggly as they should have. Overall, once I worked it out. This is a pretty good product.
