This is the third Extang FullTilt that I have bought. I like the option of rolling it up or taking it off. I have had to order parts and the customer service at Extang was exemplary.

This is the second FullTilt cover that I have bought for a heavy duty full size GM truck. Both trucks had the optional rack in the beds and the heavy plastic rail covers on the bed sides. Extang lists the cover for the rack system, but I believe the brackets are identical to the regular cover. I had to trim the plastic to mount the front of the tonneau so it would sit better, the extra height on the bed side still causes the front part of the tonneau frame to pull off of the bed when it is closed. I wish they would thicken the foam on the front section so as to seal better. The bolts on the clamps could be 1/4 inch longer to aid in getting them started due to the extra length they have to go with the rail protectors on the bed rails. I did not notch the plastic under the tonneau brackets that run along the inside of the bed. I like the ease of the fulltilt system but was also hoping for the new style quick release latches on the frame over the tail gate. I would not have to hold onto the allen wrench that comes with the cover. A simple pinch bolt with a grooved or slotted head would secure it to the frame.
