The Ridgeline requires additional rails that were missing in the original shipment. They weren't really identified in the instructions, but called and they had them shipped overnight. Everything worked great after that issue.

Cover was for 2018 Honda Ridgeline. Video made installation look easy. It wasn't ! Ridgelines require a retrofit that removes 4 tiedowns to make cover fit with additional parts not shown in demo video. Lastly, these extra parts prevent the trunk lid from opening all the way. Trunk is still USABLE but is impaired. I kept my Bak Flip cover because repackaging and sending it back would have been a real pain."

Let me say that the customer service at BAK Industries is excellent but their quality control is poor. My Tonneau showed up in a timely manner but was missing half the hardware. Had to wait longer for those parts to show up to finally finish installation. The instructions provided did not even show my truck but luckily there was a You Tube video with all the answers. Tonneau did get me an addition 1.5 mpg on my last trip. Flush and fits good as advertised. Bumper pads on window, really??

I am 66 years young. I had no issues installing the BAKFlip MX4 Folding Tonneau Cover. As long as one has the 50mm torx to remove and install bolts for the truck's tie-downs. Also a 9/16 socket was required to tighten some rail bolts. Everything went in as described in the directions. Also viewing the YouTube installation video really helped. I had called my Honda dealership and asked about drain holes. According to Honda there are no drain holes. The cover opens easily and looks great.

The Ridgeline requires extra rails installed to mount the BakFlip to the pickup bed. Install went smoothly and it looks good installed. There is some restriction raising the trunk lid but still plenty of room to access the trunk. I think I will replace the hold down clamps with bolts after drilling holes through the rails. If you install drain lines you will need to drill holes in the composite pickup bed.
