We bought this same cover for our 1996 Tacoma two years ago. We liked it so much we bought one for our 1989 Toyota 4X4. The one we bought 2 years ago is still in perfect condition. Easy to install and looks great. The only problem we had was the passenger side cable (to open the cover) came out of the socket but easy to put back and tighten with an allen wrench. We had the same problem with our first one. Once we put it back in and tightened it we have never had another problem.

We just installed it so cannot comment on how long it will last (we live in Phoenix). It took two of us about 90 minutes to install. The install went well and was pretty easy but we did have to redo the clamps a couple times to get them correct. Fit perfectly and looks great! The instructions could have been better especially on how to engage and release the cover. One of the buckles that holds the rolled up cover broke after the first couple of times. I had a spare so that was no problem.

This Tonneau is fantastic. It was easy to install and fits my older truck perfectly. The customer service rep recommended an inexpensive protectant as well. I am so glad I did business with autoanything.com. They know their products well and are extremely helpful.

Bought the Lund genesis roll up tonneau cover and within a week the passenger side latch broke! They sent a new latch assembly and could not get it installed!... Be careful when setting the tension on the cover because the latch is made of plastic and can snap like mine

I love the new cover. It fits great and it looks great. I like the fact that it doesn't have the permanently-installed bows that block the bed of the truck when the cover is rolled back. There are rods installed in the flexible cover and they roll back with the cover. I love everything about this cover except for the installation. The installation wasn't really that bad, except the instructions were totally worthless. I couldn't read them at all and could barely make out the pictures. It looked like they had made a copy of a copy of a copy... so the text was all washed out. It took me a while to figure out the orientation of the side rails from the pictures, but once I got that right, it went together pretty quickly and it was obviously designed well. Lund, give a bonus to the design engineer and fire the person responsible for the instructions.

The Lund Tonneau Cover is excellent all the way around. I just have to figure out when I roll it up how the straps connect to hold it back. Because I am a female things like that are hard to understand. Customer Service here at AutoAnything was excellent and the representative that I spoke with was very pleasant and helpful. I would definatley order here again for things.

This cover is of good quality, and performs well. It is easy to open and close at the rear to throw stuff in. You can also open the tailgate without having to unlatch the cover. The tension device works well to keep the cover as tight as you need. The cover rolls up and secures easily, and undoing it and latching it in will take 2 to 3 minutes. Overall I'd recommend it over the cheaper ones.
