Bought this becuase a friend has one and suggested it. If you can change your own oil, you can install this cover in the 20-40 min suggestion by TruXedo. Easy to assemble. Comes as (3) three pieces (cover and side rails). Materials all appear to be good solid quality. Think the box said the whole thing weighs 38 lbs. I set the cover (which comes rolled up) out in the sun to warm before installing. Helped with the fitting. Also, while I followed the instructions, I left the clamps a little loose to adjust the alignment of the rails. I have a 8' bed on my truck and the cover JUST covers it. Not a lot of wiggle room. I got the whole thing on and closed, then crawled into the bed and tightend the clamps from under. This way I knew it was all lined up. Regularly do 65mph on the highway on the way to work and it holds just fine. Gas milage has increased from 17 to about 20 overall. Will stay closed most of the time so I don't anticipate a lot of opening and closing, but wanted the access to all the bed when needed - which is why I chose a roll up. After a week of use the cover is staying in place - no need to adjust anything. One thing to note is my truck bed came with plastic rail liners. The side rails sit on top of those, which means there is about 1/16 of inch gap on the front rail, and it will let in some water. Especially if you park on an incline. Like in my driveway. The mfr notes in the install instructions that this situation may exist and you may need to add weather stripping depending on your application. Just wanted to give a "heads up" on that. I would buy one again.

The cover and components are all decent quality. Installation was not too difficult but on my 2003 F-150 XL to get everything to seal properly, the front to back centering was more critical than the left to right centering. I followed the directions exactly and was just about finished only to close my tailgate and discover an open gap between the cover and tailgate. I had to loosen all of the clamps and reposition all four sides all over again. Once I got it positioned properly everything else was fine. The cover pulls nice and tight and secures quickly and easily. My uncle has a snap cover and needs several people to help him and they still struggle with it. Its always great to deal with Auto Anything. This is my third or fourth time ordering, and I am always satisfied with their service and product quality.

I was looking for a cover for my son's "new" 2000 F150. I wanted a nice cover, but didn't want to spend too much on a used truck. This tonneau was perfect. It took us half an hour to install, looks great, and should keep his golf clubs secure and dry. It also couldn't be easier to roll up and store for those trips to the lumber yard, etc. I dont' have a lot of experience with tonneau covers, but I'd be hard pressed to find fault with this one.
