My cover was damages during shipping. The plastic lip that locks into the tailgate was damaged to the point where I'm unable to latch 1 side of the cover. Contacted Roll n Lock an they are sending me a replacement assembly. Now I need to repair my brand new cover.

This is the second one I have purchased, and this one installed with a lot less effort. The only issue I have is the alum. edge at the back near the latch handle has a bend in the metal. Theres no scratch in the power coat so it must have happened before that process. Is there a way to replace that peice?

My son has a roll-n-lock on his truck [5 yrs.] and it still works and looks great, the decals are missing but everything else is still in good condition which says it all for a vehicle that is never garaged ever. that is the reason I purchased one insted of another brand. You can not go wrong with the Roll-n-Lock unit because it is real quality.

I love the functionality of the cover! The installation instructions could be improved, because some steps were a little vague. Also, i was disappointed that you must trim the plastic tailgate cover 1.5" - this is something that you may not realize until you buy. Not an issue, however, now my tailgate is not as sealed to the weather w/ the cover open - I plan to fill it somehow. I am a little disappointed that they don't offer a modified tailgate piece for those of us with the tailgate step - after I trimmed the panel, I realized that the tailgate piece could likely be trimmed/notched to be retained and still utilize the step. Not a deal-breaker, by any means, though! Very nice, and VERY weather resistant. I would definitely recommend. I don't know how the other products compare for the price (higher or lower), but I am happy with the function and fit of this one.
