One ding on aluminum Underside right out of the box. Had to remove front utility track on my Toyota Tacoma. The screws were frozen and I had to go buy an impact device that I could put a star bit into and strike with a hammer to remove the screws. I The salesman told me that I would still have access to be able to partially use my cargo tie-downs on the side utility tracks. This was not true. The tracks from the backflip hide the utility track completely.

Installation was easy and the cover looks/functions great. I purchased the F1 instead of the nearly $200 cheaper G2. One of the main differences advertised between the F1 and cheaper G2 was a higher overall weight rating and that the F1 would remain cooler to the touch because of different materials. The cover still gets hot in the S.D. summer. Of course its black, i wasn't expecting a ambient air surface temperature, but it gets just as hot as the G2. Happy but should have went with the G2.

The cover looks great and operates as advertised. The problem was that the manufacturer drilled one of the two hold down holes, at the cab end of the cover, in the wrong position causing me to have to improvise to attach the cover to the truck bed. After notifying BAK about this situation, they are sending me a new cover and are recalling the original cover they sent me.

Cover is exactly as described in the litterature and others, clean lines, fits well and offers the ability to easily use the truck's full bed on a moments notice. I was disapointed that they do not have the option of the Bak Flip Tool Box for a common vehicle like the Tacomma.

Installed on a '10 Tacoma with factory back-up camera. Overall installation was fairly straightforward and easy. It swaps the side of the camera (R side of handle to L side), but the view remains the same. The pins for the gasket didn't line up perfect, but they worked. It took me about 45 minutes or less to install and that was not hurrying. The plastic doesn't seem as nice (looking anyway) as the factory, but I am pleased overall. Combined with my BakFlip F1, I now have a large locking trunk (covered bed) or a completely open bed in a snap if needed.

Really love this cover. I've had other types and this is by far the best. My only complaint was that the instructions were a little vague and there were extra parts with no explanation with what to do with them. It works and look great and is very well made.

Awesome cover durable by light. Looks sleek, installation paper was a litle vague .But if you have common sense its a breeze!! Not 100% water proof. But with a little modifications it would be perfect.. Price was pretty high but i guess you get what you pay for.. Overall this is a Great pick.. very pleased!!
