The cover arrived in one large box without any damage. Rails were fairly easy to install -- they bend to the concave Ridgeliner walls as you tighten. I recommend test-fitting before tightening to adjust fit to tailgate. The cover itself is pretty easy to install, two people would make it even easier. I found that the rails impede the side-opening tailgate and gouged the plastic. I adjusted the rails higher and shaved a bit of plastic from the corner and it works fine now.

I was able to get this for $819 after doing a lot of research. I chose it because it was BakFlip's top of the line but it could have been better. The rail drain tubes going into the bed's front floor plug looks crappy but I came up with a better solution; the instructions need to be improved but the You-Tube video made it easier; the tie down covers are cheap and won't last; it still leaks near the cab courners after removing & reinstlling it; it doesn't rest against the back of the cab when up.

I wanted a tonneau cover, which was designe to fit my Honda Ridgeline, and which would not affect the functionality of the tailgate. The product functions and looks very good. Now, having it installed for a few days I wish I had done it long ago. Installation was rather easy though I wished I had reviewed the required tools set - you will need T40 and T50 star wrench.

For Honda owners, you maybe concerned with the use of the in bed trunk cover. The rails are narrow enough to allow the trunk cover to clear the narrow portion, and it stops where the cover widens out. The BakFlip allows the trunk cover to open about 75 to 80 percent. It still opens far enough to easily get a large suitcase in without any problems. Over all I am happy with my purchase and the cover. It is VERY easily to use and seems well made.

The cover is good for what I need. The other reviews were correct about the instructions not being enough, so proceed with some patience and thoughtfulness if you buy this thing. It keeps the bed sealed up pretty good -- it's rained several times since I installed it and nothing has gotten through. The only issue I think I have with this cover is that it doesn't lock. It shuts and "locks" in place, but not with a key or anything truly secure. Overall, a good purchase for the money.

I bought this prior to me taking ownership of my 2011 Honda Ridgeline and did't know what to expect once my new truck arrived. The first thing I did was to put the BackFlip1 tonneau cover on it took about an hour for the installation. Showed it to my Honda salesmen at the Honda dealership and he just couldn't get over how nice it looked and it is more functional than the Honda OEM version. I have gotten a lot of compliments on my BAKFlip1.
