Does Not Fit Silverado 3500, Not Even Close

I have a 2000 Silverado 3500 dually. Before ordering I called support to verify that it would fit. They said it was the right one and was guaranteed to fit. I did not want to deal with sending the wrong one back so I also asked if the measurement between mounting holes was 34 1/4". They said it was. I got the hitch within a few days but it was way too narrow. Holes were 31", not 34 1/4" wide. Spent 3 hours cutting it apart and welding it back together so it would fit my truck.

Great reciver well built had to open up my factory frame holes and drill two new holes but I had expected that but it lined up very well had it installed in less than an hour and all the mounting hard wear worked great

This does require drilling out some holes to 9/16". It is very heavy duty on it's rating and is built accordingly. It uses the holes in the frame infront of the rear spring hangers and 6 others. It should be able to handle the weight. The side plates are about 3/8" thick, this hitch is heavy to lift and install so plan on two people and drilling.
