I was surprised at how robust the hitch was! The issue I am having is that the bolts supplied don't seem to be the correct size for my Matrix. Contacting a Toyota service dept. to verify the size. Otherwise, very pleased and would highly recommend. Bruce, Palm City, FL

I had two brands of hitches to choose from for my car. The Curtis said it was hidden behind the bumper with only the receiver exposed, and it didn't require cutting into the bumper. That, plus the fact that it was sealed and powder coated to resist rusting, sold me on it. I've spent hours installing other hitches that required measuring, drilling, working a nut into a very small space, etc. This one was on and done in about 15 minutes. It can be installed by one person, but a second person to hold it up and pull the exhaust aside sure helps.

The quality of the hitch is excellent and it installed in about 15 minutes. A little anti-seize compound on the four bolts and it mounted perfectly to the holes provides in the frame channels on the car. Now if I could only find a "T" connector for the wiring, I'll be all set. Mike S.
