The passenger side was off about a 1/2 inch. The drivers side missed about a quarter inch. Honed each side in about 10 minutes. Not bad! Saved about 75.00 ove U-Haul

What a monumental disaster to install!!!!! The receivers fits very tightly against the frame of my explorer. I needed a jack and two jack stands just to get the receiver in place...Then low and behold only three of the four holes actually aligned with the ones in the frame. Since I am only using the receiver to haul a bicycle carrier I am not currently not to concerned. But eventually will drill out the frame to place the fourth bolt on. So much for a drill less installation. Other than the major installation headache I love the receiver.

Arrived without any issues. Installation wasn't as smooth as could be. I could only install three of the four bolts as the holes didn't line up. An alternative was to use a smaller bolt for the fourth hole. Not an exact fit. I'm only using it for a bike rack so I'm not worried about it.

The hitch came with 4 days of ordering. This was surprisingly quicker than expected. It was advertised to not require any drilling. However, I had to enlarge a hole on my car frame as the holes did not line up with those of the hitch on the passenger side. I assume this was a Curt error and not a Ford error. Packaging for shipment could be greatly improved. One of the flanges had pushed through the box. I found installation was not possible without removing and repositioning the spare tire. It would have been helpful to suggest this in the instructions. I've used it once for a bike rack. It appears to work fine. Overall a good value.
