Arrived quickly. I expected installation would be easy. All the hardware was included. Only problem was that 4 of the 6 bolts were the wrong size. The two that attach to the bumper above the receiver are about half an inch too short. And the two that attach to the frame were not threaded for the existing hole (the bolts were a standard thread, the existing whole was metric). I had to purchase new hardware at a cost of about $10. Once I had the correct hardware, installation was a breeze.

I was very surprised how easy the installation was and how all the correct hardware and bolts fit perfectly. It only took me 20 minutes to install,no drilling new holds, just put in place and bolt it down. I haul very heavy loads of green firewood and have had very good success with this hitch, very glad I shopped around till I found Curt hitch.

The hitch fit perfectly. The only problem was that the 2 1/2" bolts that attached the hitch to the bumper were about 1/4" short. Went to the local hardware store and bought 2 3/4" bolts (6 points). Everything is now good. I like how the hitch is hidden under the pick-up. Also bought a step insert---looks great!

Super heavy duty hitch for an excellent price. I could not believe how rugged this hitch was when I opened up the box for the price it simply cannot be beat. Auto anything has the best customer service of an online store that I have ever seen. I ordered all kinds of other stuff from them after this purchase simply because I trust and believe in what they sell.

Hitch was a replacement for the originally installed Drawtite hitch which had rusted significantly in critical areas. The Drawtite had three bolts along each frame mount side, versus the two bolt system for the CURT. Main problem was that the CURT supplied 1/2-13x2-1/2 Hex Bolts were too short to properly mount on bumper; because of pre-installed spacers which could not be removed without taking off the entire bumper assembly! As a temporary fix (until I bought longer hex bolts), I had to use a floor jack to raise the frame high enough under the bumper to allow the hex bolts (W/O washers) to be installed from the bottom of the bumper and nutted from the top. This still only allowed about 1/8" for the flange nut to grab; but it will do until I get longer bolts. Not a fault of CURT Mfg or their hitch product, but obviously one of those unique mounting configurations which they may, or may not have been aware of.

Just bought the Curt receiver and am very happy with it. It was extremely easy to install and looks great on the truck. The shipping was fast and it got to me in no time flat. Overall, I'm very happy with it.
