At first I thought bolts were too small. Turned out all I had to do was clean out holes with a tap and die tool. Looks great on the 2009 Jeep Liberty. My order was missing the electrical harness. After contacting customer service they were willing to send the missing part but they were out, so I got reimbursed.

Looks great, good quality, American made, went on easy, the only hard part was getting out the frame bolt, also would recommend cleaning out the nuts on vehicle with a tap.

I watched the videos on YouTube before I purchased to see how the installation was going to be. Simply screw in the six bolts and torque them down. The challenge was with the wiring kit which happened to be fairly easy, but running the power wire all the way from the battery terminal to the hitch took about an hour. Overall great product and I've towed an enclosed trailer around for three days. Some minor chipping on the powder coating.

The Curt hitch was very easy to install and the instructions were exact. The hitch does stick out a few inches past the back of the SUV which is good and bad. Good is it is a great step to get to the roof. Bad is that it sticks out and you hit your leg when loading things in the back area of the SUV. All in all, great hitch and I like that I can use it as a step.

I went with the Curt hitch because I couldn't justify triple the cost to go with the MOPAR hitch when the functionality was the same, but the factory hitch tucked up under the bumper a little more cleanly. The hitch installed easily (routing the wiring to the battery was not difficult, but took some time to do thoughtfully). One thing which I did not know was that the factory tow hook is incompatible with this hitch; the factory mount won't bolt up with the hitch installed.
