The bolt holes didn't line up to the frame. I needed to find a way to stretch the hitch, which was not easy. It's made of fairly heavy steel and I was doing this at my home and not a garage full of all sorts of additional tools. This should be installable with regular tools and not need hydraulics to stretch it out. Once I solved this issue, the hitch installed fine. Instead of about an hour, it took me about 2.

Note you may need to lower the exhaust, remove the spare tire and pry away the bumper facia to ease installation. Search for instructions on YouTube. They were very helpful.

Looks good and very happy with Curt hitches, a quality product. It is a little tricky getting it in around the muffler on an Volvo XC90, you have to disconnect some of the muffler hangers to work the hitch in under the bumper and above the exhaust pipes, that was the hardest part, rest went pretty smooth.

We ordered a hitch receiver for a Volvo XC90. It came as stated, but it turned out the hitch didn't fit. I called the customer service line, we confirmed that it was the right part # and they sent a new one out that day. We got it two days later, fit perfectly and we are on our way. When everything works great you don't know who is a great company. When there is a problem, good service rises to the top. Great job guys!

Very happy with price and quality. Ended up installing by myself, but would have been easier to install with 2 people. The part you have to trim is VERY easy. It is underneath and I cut it with a razor knife. enjoy the pics.

I am thoroughly impressed with AutoAnything and my Curt reciever. My order arrived far quicker than I ever thought it would, and in perfect condition. The price was fantastic compared to what my dealership wanted. Installation of this receiver was a breeze as well using Curt's included instructions, nothing but a set of ramps in my driveway and a few sockets. I tested this receiver out right away with an 800 mile trip pulling a U-Haul trailer without a single problem or complaint.
