hitch went on in 15 minutes. very easy to install. now the hard stuff the wiring took app. 1.5 hours.not for the timid as you have to cut wire ,crimp ends ,route it underneath the car and get it to battery and the to the back left corner by the tail light. fun fun

I ordered the Curt hitch for my Toyota Matrix so that I can carry my a bike rack. The hitch installation was fairly simple with just 4 bolts to screw in. It also looks great. However, after installation I heard a rattling noise underneath my car. I saw that the part of the hitch that lies towards the front of my car stuck out just enough to have my muffler hit it when the muffler vibrated. I guess I'm going to have to get this part grinded down so that I don't have to hear the rattling.
