I try everything I can to support made in the USA & Japan; forget China. I bought this for my 04 TL. Installation can be done by a DIYer, except you need a drill & bit up to 1/2". Jacking up is not necessary. Take the bumper cover & impact absorber (the funny-shaped plastic-like part) off to install. I coated all hardware with sealant to prevent rust and bought stainless steel nuts. The only issue is that the receptacle is 1-1/4" but 2" adapter is available by Curt.

Please note you have to remove bumper cover and drill 2 hole in the bumper bar. On the plus side you don't drill body of your vehicle, on the minus you have to drill 2 1/2 inch holes. With that it took about 2 and half hours to install this thing and put back bumper cover. Overall cost me $150 to make what I wanted. Highly recommend especially for TL type S as very little information available on the internet regarding this car.

First Off The CustomeR Service received Was Top Notch. The Shipping And Communication Was Great. The Only Issue And That Could Be A Different Thing. The Installation Took About 2 Hours. The Part That Was Somewhat Difficult Was The Part That You Has To Remove The Bumper, And That You Do Need To Trim The Bumper That Is Around The HitcH Receiver. But All And All It Was To Bad. Installed On A 2006 Acura TL.
