EASY AS PIE, 20 MINUTES START TO FINISH TO INSTALL, I USED A BIT OF BLUE LOCTITE BECAUSE I AM OVERKILL. PROBABLY NOT NECESSARY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS UNIT, MINE WAS FOR A 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA WITH A 1 1/4 RECEIVER TO BE USED WITH A BICYCLE RACK

Trailer hitch was as described, easy to install with all supplied hardware. Because of age of automobile, mounting holes in frame required cleaning before mounting of hitch which added additional mounting labor tome.

Been wanting one for a while and decided to take the plunge when I saw it discounted. So worth it! It's heavy duty and easy to install. Comes with the anti wobble screw pin which was unexpectedly awesome. One star off for appearance cause it came in which some chip to the paint. But I just used a clear sealant to prevent possible further chipping/rust. Have only used it for a bike hitch so I cannot say for towing, but it looks like it can handle it very well.

Everything went smoothly, almost. There was hidden crud in the female threads of my older car which at first made me think I had the wrong bolts for the job but a quick check on the internet and some WD40 the problem was solved. PS- When I thought I was missing a part, which I found (oops), the people with CURT were very customer friendly and helpful. "I'll be back!"

Four bolts that line up with already drilled four holes in hitch and the four pre threaded holes in the frame of my Toyota. Torque to specs, and you are done. Just need to do the simple wiring, using separate available kit.

I haven't used this hitch yet but it looks like it's going to hold a lot of weight. Unfortunately the install was harder than expected. I had a 09 corolla (installing 2015 the hitch). There was a lot of rust in the threads I was attaching to. I'm a novice and I tried to clean the threads but it wasn't enough. I then called a weld shop who used two of the bolts and welded on the hitch to the frame. Not everyone is willing to weld these so I was really happy/lucky to find someone to do so.

The hitch came quickly and it has a really good solid feel to it. It took me 30 min to clean the attachment area and install the hitch, all by my lonesome. I think it gave the rear of the car a more solid feel. I would recommend this to others.
