The trailer hitch is well made. Installation is a pain. I also had to purchase new mounting bolts. Curt sent M18s. Factory was M14s. Curt intended for me to reuse the factory threaded blocks, but that wouldn't work mixing M14s and M18s. My suggestion is for Curt to supply lock washers, washers and nuts to use with the M18 bolts. Finding M18 nuts in my locale wasn't as easy as it maybe in others.

The hitch is very nice. The only problem is the removal and installation. According to Curts instructions it is not necessary to remove the fuel tank. I believe it can be done, but it is not practical. The fuel tank is vey easy to remove compareed to others that I have removed. At that point it is much easier to remove the old hitch (headless bolts). The installation will only take about ten minutes as well

Great product,12,000 lb. towing and 1200 tongue weight .. Received hitch in 2 days by Fedex, would pack hitch a little better with styro foam, as it moves to freely in box,FedEx had to retape box heavily, luckily hitch wasn't damage. Would have liked to known fuel tank from my Excursion had to be removed before bolting on hitch !!!!! Overall still worth purchase !!!!! Harry
