The hitch fit pretty well. The front horn on the e450 has a hump in the frame that lowers the front of the hitch. I had to shim the rear with washers to get it level. The washers should have been included since they are needed.

...it would be easy to install. Drilling was definitely required. I ended up having a professional do it, and I am very happy with the results all around, and the hitch itself.

Installed Curt front hitch on my 98 e-150. It was very straightfoward but for sure remove the front bumper via 4 bolts to make the job a snap. Got my front hitch tray to carry a generator etc. & w/a Hitch ball mount is great for moving trailers around too. Curt is very good quality.
