CURT Trailer Hitches Reviews

Frustrasted!

Reviewed By Etta H (DETROIT LAKES, MN) Reviewed for a 2017 Chevy Impala —6/16/2018 5:43 PM

I Love the hitch, my second purchase. Instructions for the assembly greatly simplified the actual application. I was told to cut 1 1/2 inches off the plastic shield inte back. Make that 3 inches and you will be right. Took almost 2hours to get the bolts out to proceed to the rest of the hitch . Once that was done the remainder went quite well.

24956=Easy install for hitch-mount bike racks on 2017 Chevy Bolt

Reviewed By Dave R (Ithaca, NY) Reviewed for a 2017 Chevy Bolt —6/15/2018 8:30 PM

Bought this 24956 Draw-Tite hitch for my 2017 Chevy Bolt to carry my bike(s). Chevy sells the Curt hitch for the Bolt, but those hitches only hang off the bumper bolts -- they'll bend down if tongue weight is too heavy (rated for 100lbs tongue wt.) The Draw-Tite also hangs off the bumper bolts, AND adds an arm on each side which bolts to holes in the Bolt's frame, restricting bending (rated 200lbs tongue wt)! Good bike racks weigh 30-50lbs, so get the Draw-Tite for enough capacity for 2 bikes!

CURT Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch Reviews

Mostly positive

Reviewed By James D (WOODBURY, TN) Reviewed for a 2013 Chevy Silverado —3/6/2018 9:12 AM

Hitch was pretty easy to install we bought eight eh ez install kit so it was my first time installing a gooseneck hitch and if I ever have to do it again will definitely by the curt hitch. I like the heavy duty build the parts are solid and mount with no issues . Only thing I didn't like was having to notch the flange on the bottom side of the frame to slide the front crossmember into place had both front and rear crossmembers been the same solid rectangular crossmember i would be 100% satisfied
