The t connector I ordered was a 5 way (just like the 4 way but has reverse light wire also). This allowed seemless integration of my rear bumper step lights on my truck without having to touch the factory wiring at all. Would be good for those wanting to add reverse leds undo the bumper ( I am going to do this soon) or for those adding a light bar under the tailgate. Worked perfect

I had a "professional" install my gooseneck hitch and within a couple of months began having trailer lighting problems. Looked underneath and found the hacked up wiring mess that the "professional" had done. This harness got rid of all the hacked in splices, was easy to install, looks clean and now all lights work! Don't mess around trying to tap into your factory wiring - install this harness instead.
