CURT Trailer Hitches Reviews

Paul's Curt Receiver Hitch

Reviewed By James P J (Newnan, GA) Reviewed for a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix —5/31/2011 8:21 AM

I shopped around the web a bit before deciding on the Curt Class II hitch for my 98 Pontiac Grand Prix. It wasn't that much more than the Class I that I was looking at and the Curt came with the ball mount and hitch pin. All you need extra is the ball. Two or three days later it was at my house and fit perfectly just like the online pictures showed. I don't know why people buy hitches that aren't hidden behind the bumper like this one--all that shows is the square hole and the tow chain loops. The ball mount that comes with it curves up to just the right height to ride my trailer level. I'm very satisfied with this hitch.

2013 Tacoma hitch

Reviewed By Jack H (KNOXVILLE, TN) Reviewed for a 2013 Toyota Tacoma —5/17/2018 8:16 PM

The hitch arrived with a bent tang. Had to straighten that. Mounting bolts were an odd size requiring an 18mm socket. The installation instructions called for a 19mm socket. Torquing the bumper mounting bolts was very difficult due to limited space. Installation is a two person job requiring 2+ hours. Plan to use lots of WD40.

Bully Hitch Step

Reviewed By Bruce S (ST. LOUIS, MO) Reviewed for a 2017 Ford Escape —5/16/2018 7:01 PM

This is my second Bully Step. I had the first one for years, but sold it with my car. It's solid, and comfortable to stand on. Excellent for reaching the top of my Ford Escape.
