CURT Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch

Heavy duty

This is a heavy-duty hitch but it is hard to install if your vehicle is not on a lift. Some of the bolts are nearly impossible to reach and there is no way of getting a torque wrench on them. Due to the close proximity of some of the bolts the washers given are way to large. Even smaller washers purchased separately had to be ground down on one side. View more reviews...

CURT Front Mount Trailer Hitches

Front Hitch for 2018 Chevy 2500HD

This hitch is designed to attach to existing frame bolts and does so as advertised. It takes some planning to run the cables through the existing frame holes so the bolts can be reattached after placing it in the designated position. Having a helper would be beneficial. Otherwise, you need to get a piece of plywood wide enough to go the width of the hitch and put a jack under it to position the hitch while making all the connections. The final position of the receiver is under the air-dam. View more reviews...

Weigh Safe Trailer Hitch Adjustable Ball Mount

Great Product

Very nice looking and I'm glad I am able to measure what my tongue weight is when I pull my trailer. Love that it has an adjustable height and ball size for my different trailers. View more reviews...

DIY Everything: How to Install a Trailer Hitch

There’s a right way and a wrong way to do just about everything. Sure, you could have your sketchy second cousin weld up a ball mount onto your bumper with some scrap metal that he is totally sure will hold up towing your boat — that’s the wrong way (sorry Scooter, facts are facts). Instead, […] The post DIY Everything: How to Install a Trailer Hitch appeared first on AutoAnything Resource Center.
