CURT Trailer Hitches

DIY Installation

2" welded ball drop resulted in very low to ground unloaded. Used jack stands. Set higher would have made things easier. Installation of bolts has a brilliant solution to not loose them in the car frame. I needed to go buy a (5mm) deep socket to get the bolts torqued down. The universal drive IS necessary to get around the passenger side muffler. I added length (wire not included) to the ground wire to reach the battery. Kit has splice and terminal for that. CURT T-Connectors

Very easy "non invasive" installation

I initially got the cheaper splice in connectors but did not want to damage the wiring harness on my new vehicle so I sent it back and got these. They were much easier to install since they just plug in with no cutting and splicing. They do no change the original wiring in you vehicle at all, so it can easily be removed if needed. Biggest problem with installation is fishing harness around wheel arches and away from moving or hot areas. View more reviews...
