I was very pleased with the overall quality of this hitch cover. It is made of metal with a nice polished chrome finish. The school emblem was also nicely executed. This is a much better quality item than some of the ABS plastic ones out there on the web.

Without looking too overbearing, these have a great chrome flowing design that won't stand out too much, yet add some style to the backend of your hitch. I would cover the face with a towel and use a rubber mallet to pound it in properly...especially if you have some corrosion or rust on the hitch.

I am a retired police officer, and I support the thin blue line message. I was impressed with the quality of the American flag/Thin Blue Line hitch cover, but I was disappointed to find that the blue line is too dark to stand out between two black bars on the flag. I am returning the hitch cover, but I will order the standard red, white and blue American flag hitch cover by Elektroplate because of the quality of their products.
