"What a monumental disaster to install!!!!! The receivers fits very tightly against the frame of my explorer. I needed a jack and two jack stands just to get the receiver in place...Then low and behold only three of the four holes actually aligned with the ones in the frame. Since I am only using the receiver to haul a bicycle carrier I am not currently not to concerned. But eventually will drill out the frame to place the fourth bolt on. So much for a drill less installation. Other than the major installation headache I love the receiver." —Derek S from Paoli, PA bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 1997 Ford Explorer.
