"The hitch was a little more complicated to install than expected. Some of the parts had to be altered to fit. Should have come factory specific since I did put in my make/model when I ordered the hitch. Had to use a metal grinder to make the plate fit my Ford Explorer. After the parts were altered the installation was as expected. Note you also will need a torque wrench to complete the installation properly." —Robert C from Terrell, TX bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2013 Ford Explorer.

"It works, however, the instrusctions lack some tack as no mention is applied to first remove the protective cap on the 2013 Ford Explorer harness over the passenger rear wheel well in order to plug in the T-one connecter that goes over to the hitch area... The Chinese who make the part for you failed to give complete instructions in its applications, perhaps because they never had a Ford to see it it even fit....thanks." —Dale S from La Mesa, CA bought a Tow Ready T-One Connector for a 2013 Ford Explorer.

"Great hitch. Fits perfectly. Easy installation. Half the cost of the local truck parts supplier." —Scott W from Oshkosh, WI bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2013 Ford Explorer.

"Let me start out by stating the handling of my order and shipping could not have been better. Arrived at my front door in two days after my order. The hitch was in perfect condition and installation was a breeze. The only issues I had were due to come hanger issues with my Explorer and no issue with the hitch. Hitch looks great and fits cleanly." —Joel B from Saint Augustine, FL bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2013 Ford Explorer.

"When receiving my Curt hitch I opened it up for a quick look for damage. Perfect received from shipper undamaged. The next morning I put the truck up on the ramps took a quick look at the installation And within a half an hour it was on my truck. It looks Great. And I was very surprised how fast it was shipped and received at my door step. Overall grey service and great product" —Kevin R from Bayonne, NJ bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2013 Ford Explorer.

"Good directions for installing on a Ford Explorer and great product for the price. Everything went smoothly for the installation after I made a special trip to an autoparts store to acquire a 18mm ratchet head. All the local hardware stores had only 17 and 19mm. Also would recommend the hexagonal variety of the ratchet head since it is less apt to slip and some of the bolts for removal required that a long bar be slipped over the ratchet handle to gain adequate leverage for their removal." —Richard A from Marathon, FL bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2013 Ford Explorer.

"GREAT DELIVERY FIT INSTRUCTIONS WERE SPOT ON ONLY TOOK ABOUT 30 MIN AND MOST OF THAT WAS GETTING THE EXHAUST OUT OF THE WAY. VERY NICE WE PUT THREE DIFFERENT HITCHES ON THAT DAY AND EACH ONE FIT PERFECTLY. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT PRODUCT AT A GREAT PRICE." —John Y from Poquoson, VA bought a CURT Receiver Hitches for a 2013 Ford Explorer.

In addition to Ford Explorer Trailer Hitches, you may also enjoy one of these popular products: INNO BoardLocker Surfboard Rack, Stampede Wind Tamer Sunroof Deflectors, Smittybilt XRC 12 Winch.

Tekonsha T-One Connector

Better than butt splices

The T-one connector was an exact fit for my Ford. High quality, water tight connections and the correct length cable to easily reach the proper location near the hitch ball. Also came with directions that made finding the correct connection point on the vehicle wiring very easy. Check back in 20 yrs and I'll let you know how it did on the long haul. View more reviews...
