I was a bit dubious about the "30 minute easy installation" the instructions promised; especially when they started throwing out terms like "fishing method" and "reverse fishing method". I was very pleased and surprised then the installation took me less than 20 minutes overall! My only complaint is that if you try to torque the plate that sandwiches the tow hook on the car with the hitch, the plate bends pretty badly around the nut way before torque spec is reached. Curt & sellers market this for sedan only. I have the hatch but decided to try this T-connector anyway - and it fits! PRO Car loom has earth point behind the LH rear seat that can be used with Curt earth wire Two holes on the arch that are just the right distance apart to use a zip tie to secure the adapter out of the way Lic plate wire exits through a nearby boot. Use small slit to pass the 4-pin plug, then wrap with elec tape & refit CON Earth & RH wires need a few more inches for better fit View more reviews...

Installed this on a 2011 Hyundai Accent Hatchback. Fit perfectly as advertised and didn't need to lower the muffler as others suggested...was able to fit the cross bar around it. Adding the spacers was a little tricky as the plates on the hitch were not at a perfect 90 degree angle from the bar. The final spacer had to be tapped into place using a hammer. Tongue wt is only rated to 200 lbs which is very low; so preferential wt distribution toward the back of the trailer is recommended. View more reviews...
