The hitch seems to be working fine: we use it for a bike rack. We had it installed professionally, so the ease of installation criterion really does not apply to our purchase. Price seems average for hitches of this kind; appearance should be an irrelevant point, besides the frame being all new an shiny - but that is hardly why you'd choose it.

The difference between towing with the the tongue properly set and not is like night and day. The scale allows you to see exactly how positioning your cargo impacts the tongue weight. Have the correct tongue weight helps eliminate that floating steering wheel feel and porpoising while driving down the road
