CURT Trailer Hitches

Does what it should

This hitch was pretty much in line with my expectations. Nice look, mostly hidden behind the bumper, and no real surprises with installation or function. The car, however, is another story. Be prepared to struggle with thepanel retainers or "plastic rivets" that hold the bumper on. I broke a key trying to pop one out. Also, the hardware sizes in the instruction manual refer to the shaft of the bolts, (hole size), not the head. These (I think) are SAE sizes, too, not metric. So you might end up heading to a store with the bolts to get the right sockets. Otherwise, our 2200 mile drive to LA went off without a hitch, so to speak. View more reviews...

Truck Covers USA American Tailmate Hitch Bed Extender

Heavy duty on steroids. But this thing!

I bought this to compensate for the short end in my new Tacoma. I do a lot of woodworking, so I bought this to carry long boards and also a couple of kayaks. I looked at the other, much cheaper versions of the bed extender, but I was concerned those lightweight models might bend under heavier weights. I actually just returned from Home Depot after using this to carry 4 sheets of OSB, 22 sheets of 12' Hardy plank siding, and 2 1x8 boards 12' long. Worked perfectly! It's super heavy duty.
