Transmission Filter

Two words can instantly strike fear in the hearts (and wallets) of any vehicle owner – new transmission. While this may be the worst case scenario, one way to guarantee your transmission stays in working order is regular filter replacement. Made from a range of contaminant-trapping materials, the premium transmission filters available at AutoAnything are designed with a custom-fit for your year, make and model.
Slipping gears, rattling noises or smelling smoke are all clear signals you need to check in on your vehicle's transmission filter. If your trans filter is failing to trap particles away from your fluid, it's only a matter of time before you can find yourself looking at a very large number on the bottom line of a bill from your friendly mechanic. Recommended every 30,000 miles, replacing your transmission filter is an easy job that any handy DIY-er can tackle in an afternoon with the right tools on hand. Make sure you have the right part for your ride and shop the vehicle-specific selection available at AutoAnything, all available with the added value of our 1-Year, Lower Price Guarantee.

Wix Transmission Filter

Quality replacement - but

The filter quality is great and the filter material seems to be of higher quality than the OEM metal mesh. The gasket is great as it even holds the bolts in place making it easier to align the pan for reinstallation. The only reservation I had is the pick-up tube on the WIX filter is about 1 inch shorter than OEM. WIX states this is by design and only time will tell if this is detrimental to overall performance. Overall, great product at a fair price. View more reviews...
