HAPPY

THIS IS MY 2ND BEDRUG MAT. THE 1ST ONE WAS CUSTOM FIT FOR MY 2006 F150 I'VE HAD IT FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS AND IT HAS HELD UP VERY WELL. A CUSTOM FIT BEDRUG WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR MY 2002 F250 SO I DECIDED TO GET THE UNIVESAL MAT. I MADE CAREFUL MEASUREMENTS AND OUTLINED MY CUT WHICH TOOK SOME TIME. I EVEN PULLED OUT THE F150 MAT TO USE AS A PARTIAL PATTERN. CUTTING IT FROM THE BACKSIDE WITH A SHARP UTILITY KNIFE WAS NOT PROBLEM.I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. THESE MATS ARE KNEE SAVERS!

Bed Mat

I got the bed mat to go on top of a Decked Storage System to keep stuff from sliding on the plastic top. Works real well. The rug was easy to trim to a tight fit so I didn't need to screw it down so it's easy to remove to clean.

Does the job

I have a 1991 Dodge Ram 50 with a 6 foot bed. Would have preferred a heavier weight rubber mat but very hard to find for this truck. Well made material and a little tricky to cut out, yet serves the purpose.

Multi-use application

I have had a bed rug in my truck for the last 6 years, and simply took it from my 2011 to my 2017 Ford F150. It has held up really well, so when I was looking for something for the back of my 2014 Jeep Wrangler JK Rubicon, and couldn't find something both durable and soft for the dog, I bought a universal BedRug and then made a template and cut it out of this product. looks great, and fully customized to my specific needs. Note, if you are into logos, the Universal product doesn't have one.

Took

I like the ease of installation but what I received was not as adversised. The advertisement of the mat show it with the BedRug logo, mine does not have one. To return it would not be worth the time , so I decided to keep it.

Used it to line the back of my CRV

I needed protection for the back of my car when the back seats are down because I carry golf clubs and a cart. I made a paper pattern then cut the rug. It fits perfectly and I can even raise the seats without removing the rug. Oh, and it looks incredible, perfect for my needs!

Expensive for what you get

They are asking a fair chunk of change for something that isn't super high quality. Installation is do-it-yourself and fairly straight forward as the material is easy to cut. There is enough material to make a cover for your tailgate as well. One of the rubber mats would be better for protecting your bed but I was looking for a camping option. I paid too much.

Great inside a Dodge Grand Caravan

I can't see using this in an open pick up bed. It is fantastic inside my Caravan, quiet, soft, easy to install. But anything heavy or hot will easily destroy this plastic foam. Things still slide around, though not as much. The material is pricy for how cheap it feels.

Great product

I'm using this BedRug in a Tacoma with a camper shell, Cutting around the wheel wells is the main challenge. Make careful measurements, or even a cardboard template. A long, thin, very sharp knife worked best for cuts. 3/4" thick, and firm enough to give one's knees relief from the hard ridges of the truck bed. So far I really like it!

Pleasantly Surprised

Wasn't sure what to expect, when I received the product it was made of a lighter and different material than I expected, but for my application it worked perfectly. The underside of the product is a light foam material.

Wish I'd done it sooner

This product is fantastic. There wasn't a model specifically fitted for my older Tundra, so I went the DIY yourself route and made one out of this "universal" model. Universal means you get a big piece of the material and have to cut it to fit. The material is super easy to cut with a utility knife or xacto. Make a template out of heavy paper. There was enough length left over to make a tailgate mat too. The original drop in bed liner is now super comfy on the knees and when camping.

Bedrug

Very nice looking , but it is lighter than I thought it would be. I refuse to drill holes in my bed to secure it.You should let buyers know that is required .

Ginky

I have a 1997 Ford F150 stepside. It's hard to find custom fit products for this model, so I got the "universal" bedrug. Basically a big rectangle that you cut to fit. I tried scissors and sheet metal shears to cut the bedrug without success, but my wife brought out a sharp kitchen knife and that worked just fine.Careful measurement and cutting (the rear of the stepside bed is tapered) resulted in a nice fit. The bedrug looks nice and appears to be a good product. So far, I'm happy with it.
