Cap Racks Customer Reviews

Reviewed by Norris D (Cochran, GA) — 2011-08-10 18:26:28

This item was actually easy to install. I wish there had been some instruction, however, on where on the cap to locate the rack. It appears (and by the bolt sizes) that it should be mounted to the aluminum cap body, not the cap framework. That wasn't good enough for me, so I utilized the cap framework for mounting due to strength concerns. I did have to go buy longer bolts to do this. (up to 3 in. from the 2 in. provided) Haven't used the rack yet to haul kayaks, so we will see how it goes.

Ladder Racks Customer Reviews

Very pleased with the t-rac pro, shipped very fast from autoanything. Took longer to install and remove than expected, since my access was a little more restricted due to the bed liner and bed rails. Get yourself a 5/16 drive hex bit socket and it makes the install go much faster (sears has this). Racks are tough and look sharp, definitely recommend the racks and autoanything.

Tonneau Cover Racks Customer Reviews

Reviewed by George M (Somerset, PA) Reviewed for a 2009 Chevy Silverado — 2012-08-04 17:03:21

Rack was shipped quickly. I was easy to install with clear directions. If installing with Access Vanish Tonneau cover you may need to grind the rear hold down plate to fit around the Tonneau cover clamp. I needed to do this on my Silverado crew cab short bed. Easy to do, only took a few minutes on the bench grinder.

Hauler Racks Reviews

The rack was not only shipped on time but three days earlier than promised. The clear cut directions made it very easy to install. This is a nice looking rack. In fact the only aluminum cabover ladder rack I could find that mounted on the outside of the camper shell. The folks at Autoanything were very professional, knowledgeable, and quick to answer any question. You can't ask for much more when you have a great staff, dependable shippers, and a greatproduct. I will highly reccomend your company and this product.

Pace Edwards Reviews

Reviewed by Dennis J (SPRINGVILLE, AL) Reviewed for a 2010 Ford F-150 — 2012-08-12 12:26:30

The Pace Edwards Utility Rig Ladder Rack is just what I was looking for. I have the Pace Edwards (P.E.) retractable hard cover. With this rack I can use it in conjunction with the cover. I needed a good way to carry a kayak while pulling a travel trailer. I have found it. You need the P.E.Explorer Rails to fit your vehicle for this to work. If you are buying a new cover I would suggest getting the Explorer Rails as an option. I had a problem with mounting the new rails. The Explorer Rails are powder coated and came with no clips for attaching to the truck. The clips I had on the standard rails did not have the needed tolerances to allow for the clips to slide on easily to the powder coated rail. Added to the frustration level and added significant time for installation. I finally carried to a dealer and what normally takes 30 minutes took them two and a half hours.
