              Lots of room!

Set up is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. It is very spacious and may cause challenges in smaller tent/camper sites, given hook on to car. However, it can be used stand alone. The components - car wrap and screened room - detach easily as needed. Screened room has no attached floor; loose one is provided. Detaching from car (to go somewhere) and reattaching is not difficult, though backing up with good alignment is challenging. Serviced us well on trip through FL.

              840000 Review by owner

We just got back from a week of camping as we crossed the US and back (tear down each morning) with a full frame/size SUV. This tent attaches to the SUV very well and setup is easy. The main tent is 10'x10', which I believe is the perfect size for two (2) people with a lot of gear. Without the rainfly on you can watch the stars at night. The screen tent area is 6'x7' and great for extra storage. I would buy this again.

I was very pleased with my truck tent. It fit the bed of my pickup perfectly. I do have to say it was quite a chore putting it up by my self. The hardest part was the rain fly. I took me a little over an hour to put up. Quality is excellent.

              Initial impression

Dry run setup went ok. Found something that could be imporved: The attachments that tie the tent to the roof rack of the car are made of elastic strap and they don't stay adjusted. I actually had to tie a knot in the strap to keep it from slipping out of the clip end. I do love the design with being able to remove the screen room if not needed or there is not enough room for it on the camp site. But it would be nice to be able to attach the screen room to the other side instead.

              Great SUV tent!

Very easy to set up ( and take down ) and the quality seems really to be really solid. I was able to set up and take down with very little help from the wife. Would highly recommend!

Love that it actually fits back in the bag after use

I just bought this to go with my new Kia Soul. I haven't attached it to the car yet, but did use is as a stand alone tent this weekend. It is pretty heavy. I thought it was handy that the instructions are attached to the bag in a durable material. At first it looks complicated, but it is really pretty straightforward. It is a nice size and seems well made. It like that it comes in a sturdy bag and is easy to put away.

              a really good deal

I needed a place to stay for a few nights, cheap, for me and my two adult children, and I needed it quick. The tent came quickly, was easy to put up by myself ahead of the trip, and was roomy enough for us all. We ended up staying a week and it rained three times yet the tent was tight and dry. Two problems: 1, the first night some water was caught up in the tuck below the bumper; pulling the car a few inches away solved it. And one of the metal parts of a pole tore open, saved by duct tape.

Napier Sportz Tent is easy to set up.

I was able to do a test set up the other weekend and it was pretty easy to figure out and quick to get the tent form in the box, to laid out in the bed, to up and usable. I have not had chance to actually use it camping but i plan to in the next two weeks.

Like the versatility of this tent

My wife and I are heading west this summer for some camping and some mom and pop hotel stays for over a month and were looking for a option to not pull a trailer or popup and feel this option is meeting our expectations. The connection to our vehicle a Ford Freestyle seems to match perfect and look forward to sleeping in the car and using the tent for room to move around out of the weather. The price through Auto Anything was exceptional from other places to purchase.

              Extra room.

This is a great way to add an extra room to your vehicle. Tall enough to stand comfortably, big enough to stretch out in. A bit pricey for a tent this size, but being connected to the HHR made camp life so much easier. We cooked inside, sat and ate inside, changed clothes, climbed into the back of the car for the night and closed the hatch. In the morning, pop the hatch and put on the coffee to warm the place up. I LOVE IT !!!!

Just what we wanted. Fit perfectly over the hatch of our Subaru Outback. Larger than we expected too. Will sleep 4 in the tent and 2 in the car. Would recommend to others, quality was great too. Easy to assembly and take down as well. Loved that we could detach the tent ,zip up and sight see, felt secure to leave it.

Cool concept, well thought out design. I put it up by myself the first time without using directions in less than an hour. It would be easier for two, especially the fly. I'm a little concerned about the metal poles holding out. I left it up in high winds and the awning poles got a little bent but can be straightend out. Time will tell on that one. I thought it was made in Canada since it's a Canadian company but it was made in Bangladesh, oh well. That's how they keep the price so cheap.

The tent was easy to set up. Excellent directions. Even tells you how to fold it so it goes back into it's duffel bag. Quality is a much different issue. The front room was not long enough to touch the ground in front a there's a piece of the sground skirt that goes across the entrance that very trippable. There other design flaws also. The bio vest deciency was the first and only time I used the tent, despite a through seam seal job it leaked in many areas during a light to moderate rain.

Early review. So far very good.

We have not actually camped with this tent but have set it up and taken it down three times for practice. It is fairly easy to set up with two people. 45 min. 1st time, 35 the 2nd, and 25 the third. It's a very nice design. We sealed the seams on the bottom and lower sides. The rain fly is taped. Fits an Expedition well. If you lay down a good 16X20 tarp, it covers the entire footprint of the tent including the awning. I think we will be pleased with the tent.
