The wife and I wanted to go camping, but not on the ground, and not for the price of a framed up roof top tent. We haven't camped in a while, and this is an inexpensive way to see if we're going to like it or not. The tent is nicely constructed and pretty easy to get into sleep ready state. Would definitely recommend setting it up (at least) once to familiarize yourself with what goes where and so forth. Great little tent!

I got this tent for long-bed Tacoma. It was great at first. I've now used it 14 times and encountered some serious weak spots: 1. Vestibule pole broke. Happened on my 4th time putting it up. 2. Pole sleeve ripped when putting the tent up this last trip. Tent still held but I am seriously worried about whether it would stand up in any but the nicest conditions now. Plus side: I've been through a serious thunderstorm with heavy rain and stayed perfectly dry. I can put it up solo. Very roomy.

This was an amazingly good purchase. I did not have any trouble setting it up by myself. Even though the windows aren't the zip shut type, the breeze flowed through to cool the inside perfectly when the front was open. I am very happy with it.

I received the tent quickly (thank you). I have set it up (60yr female) with very little problem. Put supply in it to see if it was going to work for me and it does. Take down was even easier. Only concern would be the possibility of moisture getting under the tent from near the truck back window area. I think if I got a tarp and sewed Velcro straps I could attach it to the tent then over the cab and attached to the mirriors.

Works well on the Toyota Tacoma short bed. Good waterproof . Custom Air Matress is a must also . Would be nice if it also had the extended tarp so you could stand under it next to the tailgate under cover like the other model. It should wear well in bad weather.
