The assembly took 2 people for the first time set up. It's pretty self explanatory. As others had stated, do a dry run to get comfortable with assembly and disassembly. Make sure all of the poles are hung up on the sleeves prior to lifting it in the air. Other than that, just a simple pole tent in the back of a pick-up...

Couldn't have asked for a better set up. The beauty of this tent is it's easy to set up, fits as advertised, instructions were clear, and interior set up is well laid out. I have back problems, so the ability to slide out of the tent instead of getting up off the ground is great.

The truck tent is of very good quality; it is as expected; it wasn't too hard to set up (except for the first time); my objection is that I would have to remove my tonneau cover every time I'd want to set it up (Bak Flip); that's too much of a pain

We just went camping and were excited to get a chance to try out the tent. When we went to instal the tent we found that one of the support pockets was sewn upside down, and another one was not sewn at all. There was also one strap that was not completely stitched. We had to improvise and sew one pocket and rig the others .

Overall it looks and works as intended; worth the money. Only complaints are the ease of setup and issues with the fit of the front and rear straps. Running the buckles through the tailgate was difficult due to tight clearances (center tailgate strap wasn't used due to my bedrug). The second time I set it up I just ran them outside the tailgate and around the bumper. Front strap locations are challenging as well and I can see the elastic portion of the strap failing with extended use.

Great tent for a truck bed! A bit of a learning curve on the initial (and second) setup; but, it does get easier. We needed a small, two-step ladder and stool to assist us especially for the rain fly (after the tent has grown). Seam sealing is mandatory for all seams that are taut. Once we got it up, it provides an amazing amount of room. At our age (70ish), the small ladder is necessary to allow ingress and egress since tent blocks our tailgate step. Pretty pleased.
