Near perfect

I camp in a 1999 Tacoma pickup...small. This tent fits perfect. The top is big and roomy. You only actually have the space of your bed size but you feel like there is much more room. It was easy to set up and take down. It, easily, fit back into the carry bag. My only concern is that the fiberglass poles seem a little flimsy. I would rather see aluminum poles. I am enjoying it! And it's an easy solution for me when I don't want to put on the canopy or haul the trailer!

Truckclamping

In general a nice tent all though it seems a little tight at the doorway or back of truck with fabric. So tight it seems like fabric will bust? Let's hope not anyhow was glad to see I could put in a real full size mattress so I should be sleeping well.

Nice Tent

It takes a while to set up, but everything fits well, even with my roll up bed cover. Looks like it should be good for camping. One issue might be trying to set it up in the dark because many of the poles are similar in color.

The answer I've been looking for

Overall the product really had a good look and exceeded my expectations. But I've only had a chance to use it once and that was on the beach. Basically the reason

Great tent

This tent fits my `05 Silverado perfectly...seems well made with plenty of ventilation. Set up is very easy and I know it will be a snap after doing it a few times. All of the poles are well made and the straps are easy to adjust. Once it was installed it was stable and wasn't going anywhere. I am 6'5 and had plenty of room in this tent. I purchased the extender tent to have another room and I could easily stand in it. Great product and shipped to me quickly.

Sportz truck tent review

my truck has a roll up tonneau cover and 2" box rails - no problems with install however. great headroom and fit well - took a couple practice set up's to feel comfortable with installation. negatives are rain cover a challenge to install alone & tailgate straps are a pain to feed past the gate, I did fabricate some assist straps to help with both issues. overall very satisfied with product for the money invested.

great quality truck tent

After the initial set up of the tent I was able to set it up in about 15 minutes. There is lots of standing room inside of the tent and really optimizes the space of the truck bed. Lots of windows and venting. Looks very sharp with lots of compliments from other campers.

Awesome

As I've gotten older I no longer enjoy tent camping on the ground. The truck tent allows me to continue tent camping without the hassle of sleeping on the ground. I have a step tailgate and simply walk into my tent. My lab jumps right in after me. It's perfect!!!!

Glad I bought it!

I read all the reviews I could find before purchasing. My wife and I installed the tent on our 2003 GMC in about 20 minutes in the driveway, just to make sure it would work. It fit perfectly, and we had no issues. The poles were snug but were the right length, instructions were clear, and the "fit and finish" looks good so far. No problems in tear-down, and it all fit back in the carry bag easily. I would recommend this tent wholeheartedly.

Napier Truck Tent Review

Decided to set it up at home prior to our first camping trip. Very helpful instructions. Cut our set up time in half at camp site by being familiar with instructions. The Truck Tent is awesome. My wife can't wait to use it again. Be prepared for lots of comments from other campers.

Outstanding product

After much research I went with this tent. Set up is simple, especially with two people. The sewn in floor is tough and durable. I have a 6'4" bed and it is very roomy inside. I'm 5'9" and can stand up inside w/ out the gear holder installed. Most importantly the wife loves it. The overall quality is very nice and well built. The only issue I may have is with the screen at the tailgate. It seems a bit weak and the way the tent works, you have to climb over/walk on it when getting in or out.

Works on a stepside pickup!

Great little tent. Got it to fit on my step side 2000 Chevy Silverado with a little help of a bungee cord. It did require a second pair of hands to get it up to the bed, but otherwise, not difficult to put together at all. Me, the dog, and all our stuff fit well, and plenty of space for the much needed box fan. Will definitely get some good use out of this.

Good value. Relatively easy to set up.

Broke the long green pole on initial set up. It didn't look right and forced it a little too hard. Also difficult to feed the middle tailgate strap through the tailgate. Otherwise, very roomy, functional, high quality, affordable tent.

Quality product

The color coded poles and material buckle guards are a nice touch. Overall quality rivals any of my general use tents.

Napier Sportz Truck Tent 57 Series

Test trial set in driveway went very well, as long as you followed the instructions. Assembly could be completed without the instruction but would take longer. The tent fits my 2002 Tundra like a glove but will say that it's a little tight along the taillight and tailgate area. Haven't used it in the real world yet due to weather, but looking forward to it. excellent product

Better than the old man's camper shell

I have yet to test this tent in less than ideal conditions but I currently love it. Quite roomy and well ventilated. If you want to avoid the air mattresses that seem to always get a hole, cut modular floor padding tiles (like you set up in a kids room) to help even out the bed of the truck and roll out a sleeping pad (or mattress topper). Also, pool noodles cut in half remove the gap between the bed and the tailgate First set up took me (alone) 28 minutes without the use of instructions.

Truck tent

Very happy with the 57 Series tent! I also bought the truck bed air mattress and the attaching ground tent. The fit is very good and there are no gaps for the bugs to get in. The stitching could be a little better but overall a very good buy. Also I have gotten quite a few compliments on it when it is set up.
