Perfect!

I love it! Turned my Ranger into a Winnebago, lol, Also nice was the fact that it worked with my rack on the truck...just pop off the rear cross bar!

Quality Control Issues

I had to return 2 of these tents to get one without a flaw the affected performance/durability. In one case sewing was the issue. Window seams seem to be difficult for their factory in Bangladesh. WARRANTY DETAIL TO NOTE: In order the get the factory to send you a replacement for a defective part, you have to go thru the dealer you bought it from. Eats away at your time.

Napier Truck Tent

This is a very nice tent overall. There are only a couple of issues of note: It takes somewhat longer to put up than a standard tent. The protective side straps could also be more protective of the paint.

Once the tent was up and assembled,I got a lot of compliments from other campers.Everyone thought it was very cool looking and liked the idea of it being off the ground.

cool truck tent

It took about 45 minutes to set up the first time, The color coded system is really helpful. It secured well to my truck, so I'm not worried about it moving with the wind. I haven't used the rain cover yet, so we'll see how water proof it really is. I plan on treating the seams with protectant for an extra layer. I really like the awning for shade off of the tailgait. I really love the access window to get to the cab window also

Napier Sportz Truck Tent 57 Series for a Nissan Frontier 6' bed.

It took me about 1 hour to set it up by myself the first time, much faster the next time around. The instructions inside the storage bag were easy to follow. I set it up on the ground and then moved it to the truck. The only problem I had was the main pole the runs down the inside of the tent seemed to be a little long and very difficult to install. I cut the pole off by about 1-1/2" this appears to have made it the perfect length. It fits perfectly on the truck and looks great.

Great idea

Enjoyed camping with this tent. I read reviews about poles breaking but you just need to be sure they are sliding freely in the sleeves before putting them in place. I was able to remove tent from bed and use tent spikes to secure it to the ground when I had to drive somewhere. Can't wait for more camping trips.

Napier Tacoma Tent

Well, I could not be more pleased thus far. I set up the tent and inflated my new mattress inside the tent and I'm happy to report that setting up the tent was not hard if you've ever used poles in color-coordinated sleeves before. the Tent rocks as a lot of though for comfort and features are obvious. From the zipper pulls to the number of windows and quality of the tent material. Excellent! The tent fit the 6'2" bed perfectly!

57044 truck tent

Plan was to retrofit this into a 4x8 utility trailer with 16" sides and with a bit of trailer manipulation it seems to be working well as planned. Setup in garage took 1 hour (accounting for extra time to allow for retrofit to the trailer). The long "olive" pole as intended replacement for the green pole provided w/ originally broke when too much bend pressure was applied, but I used the original green long pole and it's working just fine for now. "Black"top pole is 1" long, mod made it work.

Nice tent!

Took a while to put up the first time because we were being very careful. Assembled it on the ground then set it in the bed of the truck per instructions. No problems and it fit perfectly. Was worried about scratching my truck, but don't believe that it will be a problem.

Awesome tent!

I was a little worried about the connecting rods breaking by reading a review prior to purchase but it worked out fine. Installation took awhile but now know how to do it next time, overall it sets up nice after it's all done, now just need a stool or something to climb in it :-]

Excellent truck tent

Pros: Easy to set up. Quality stitching. Good tent poles. Great ventilation. Good instructions. Fits the truck bed perfectly (2015 Nissan Frontier, Crew Cab with 6 foot bed.) I have not camped out in the rain yet. Cons: Needs a few more internal mesh storage pockets (minor detail). We are definitely planning to add the ground tent attachment. Overall a really great tent. I recommend it.

Camping in a ranger

The tent comes in a nice carrying case and is fairly feature rich. I've only had a chance to take it on one trip so far - to the Okefenokee swamp. My main concern for its longevity is its tendency to slip between the cab and bed of the truck. I hope the tent doesn't get caught in that gap. The way the tent sits on the bed walls gives nice little shelves all around the tent.

Truck Tent

The tent came sooner than expected, packed in a strong fabric case large enough to reuse with ease. I purchased the truck tent for occasional overnight fishing trips on Cape Cod MA. It took about 45 minutes to assemble it myself for the first time. I expect it will take ten to fifteen to assemble it with subsequent uses. It took about five minutes to disassemble. Quality seems to be high and well made.

Looks good

Bought this for my daughter. She had a little bit of trouble putting it up the first time but it looks and fits in the truck good and does the job.

Awesome Tent

I absolutely love this truck bed tent, it is everything that I was expecting. It is easy to install and fits perfectly in my 2015 GMC Canyon. It is very compact when packed away. Camping off the ground. Highly recommended.

Napier truck tent

It worked wonderfully, the only drawback is the height, I am over 6' so I can not stand up straight. However, that is not as important as the overall convenience of the tent.

Great quality/value for the price.... Set up not so easy.

Love the look....great quality for the price. Instructions were relatively easy to follow. Set it up in the family room rather that on the truck bed for the first time. I had problems getting some of the poles in the corresponding pockets. It was so difficult trying to get the rear pole ( short green ) that goes in the grommets that I finally gave up. Hopefully that might be easier when I set it up on the truck. Looking forward to warm weather so I can actually use it.

Great gift

Just got the Napier 57 for Christmas. Went camping for 4 days in the mountains and was very happy with the fit and performance of the tent. We even had some rain without problems.
