For a long time the only things available in the truck market for camping were heavy and expensive cab-over campers and lower cost camper shells. The full-blown campers were good, but you really couldn't take them off road and they were a hassle to put on and off. Camper shells are great, but try standing up inside one someday. Then some genius figured out a way to marry a tent to a truck bed and, voila, Ford Ranger truck tents were invented. Ranger bed tents are an incredible low-cost and lightweight way to turn your rig into an ideal home base when out camping. And with countless Ford Ranger truck tents reviews to read, you'll discover real experiences from real customers like you.
Here at AutoAnything we feature Ford Ranger truck tents that convert your rig into a comfortable home away from home and give you almost six feet of headroom. Ford Ranger truck tents feature top-quality, heavy-duty, rip-stop nylon, and are waterproofed to keep you dry during those surprise mountain thunderstorms. And, since Ranger truck tents use your truck bed, they keep you safely up off the rocky or muddy ground. Check out the Ranger bed tents that give you added space with an awning feature for outdoor enjoyment. When the camping season is over, you can pack up your Ford Ranger bed tent and store it away until next year.

: Dean D from North Liberty, IA says "Overall a great product. I put it up the first time in the dark and didn't have much problem. Probably can do it a lot quicker next time. It rained for four hours straight the next morning but only got a couple drops of water inside (around the door.) Because of the height once installed on my truck, getting the rain flap laid out over the top was a bit of a challenge and I never did get it positioned or rotated right so I could get it tied down properly to the truck. It still did it's job of keeping me dry but was obvious that it wasn't installed properly. I also highly recommend getting the custom sized air mattress that fits your truck. I did and found it very very comfortable. The only drawbacks I can think of with this set up are that when you're traveling, all your gear is exposed to the elements and when you get to camp, you really can't drive your truck because of the tent. Small issues though. I'd buy this item again."
