idea is good

I have tried to use it once and it seems a bit cumbersome for one person to install. The tightness when attaching to the vehicle desires to be better ( maybe some magnet strips or Velcro) It need some transparent plastic window when it rains. .

Awesome tent

I received it fast. Sets up easy and is very study. It's made of a good quality. There was plenty of room for me and my girlfriend and 4 dogs. I would recommend this tent to anyone that enjoys being outdoors.

Great buy

We are super happy with this purchase. It was an easy set up, fit perfectly over both our Suburban and Cadillac SUV. This has expanded our off road festival opportunities!

Exactly what we needed!

We traveled to Kentucky to see the total eclipse and had a campsite near Hopkinsville. We parked and had the tent set up in less than 15 minutes. It was everything we needed to stay comfortable for 2 days. NO BUGS! Breaking camp was even more simple. The 2 big tent windows you see in the photo have no privacy flap inside the tent - that's the only thing I would change.

Napier Backroadz SUV & Minivan Tent for 2014 Infiniti QX70

Had good rain test the first night I used this tent last weekend. It leaked because the roof of my car slopes back towards the tent. I like it overall and can remedy that with a fairly simple "counter-flashing" tarp, but people should know that it needs a little finessing depending on the shape of your car.

Worked very well even for my aging parents

.This minivan tent I would recommend. Works well and ease of disconnecting when needing to use vehicle. We did have one pole that disconnected and another that split making it difficult to use. Would ask for another set of poles

Made for great camping!

Used it twice so far - once for primitive and then at a campground. Planning another campground trip this weekend. Both times had my grade-schoolers help a bit but could have easily done myself. When rain threatened, rain fly was easy enough to pop on - endured an evening of light rain and not a drop in the tent. If we needed to break off to use the car, zips right up and you're off. Easily fits a queen size air mattress, sleeping bags and plenty of room to move around - very spacious.

Tent for Acadia

Nice way to be able to go tent camping but be able to sleep in the back of the car instead of on the ground.

Loved it!

Great tent! Easy to use. The only down side I guess i would say is that I wish the sleeve part that goes around the vehicle was tight right against with no space for bugs to fly in. It' kept the rain out though!!

It was perfect!

Ordered it because I'm 8 mnths pregnant and have a 1yr old. We went camping to a Music Festival, it held up very nicely in the rain, & worked out absolutely wonderful for us. Husband set it up rather quickly too. Parents slept into the suburban & our baby slept in the play plen in the tent area, it was a perfect fit for us! Loved it & highly recommend it

Great tent, not good with rain but good w/ wind

Overall great tent but it was unfourtane that the screen covers and SUV flaps didn't withstand heavy rains very well. It held up to 60 mph winds very good. We don't plan on camping in extreme weather but it just so happened a storm hit us and the rain got in but at least it didn't blow away!

Napier backroadz

This tent makes tent camping a much better experience however the tent cannot withstand even the smallest amount of wind. The pole for the rain fly broke with 15 mph winds. Also if you are camping in a sandy spot it is impossible to keep sand out since there is not way to close the windows on the tent. Other than the wind and sand the tent is great. I will have to get aluminum poles to support it better.

Napier Backroadz Tent

The tent seemed to be made well when I took it out of the box and it was easy to put up. However, there are some definitely issues. First, the zippers are not designed well and get caught every single time you try and zip it up. That is frustrating, especially if you are headed to the bathroom in the dark. Then the black straps that hold down the poles around the bottom, two of them ripped out during the wind in the night...and it was not terrible wind.

Like a mini Taj Mahal!!

Tent was all that was promised. Very spacious and comfortable inside -- I especially like being able to stand up and of course the access to the tailgate of the car is terrific. The ten appears reasonably well constructed, and was also relatively easy to set up. I love that it can fit basically any SUV type car, so I will still be able to use it when I get a new car. I thought the price was reasonable, and would definitely recommend it.
