My wife and I really like it. I ordered to small, should have b

Should have been a 6'er. Used once. Could I return and get the correct size, which is 6'er. I'll pay the difference. Your business is so appreciated

Just what I was looking for.

Practiced putting it up the first day, it took me about an hour to figure it out. FYI , go to You Tube and watch the video , helps alot. But after that maybe 10 min. Fit perfect. No more dirt. ????

Awesome Purchase!

This tent is the best! Super easy to set up by yourself and with an extra set of hands even easier! Get to be off the ground and very spacious for being in the bed of your truck! Also keeps bugs out while not getting stifling hot like most tents! Great price and overall awesome tent!

Easy installation and great value!

This was one of the easiest tents that I have ever set up. The directions were really straightforward and easy to follow. I really love the idea of a tent being placed in the truck bed, since that makes it so easy to keep all of your gear and valuables easily protected. The inside of this tent is very open and spacious and allows for you to sit up and get in with ease. This is an excellent way to go camping and make excellent use of a truck bed!

Very nice truck bed tent.

The tent was east to set up the first time, and took about a half hour, although, I was in no hurry, and following directions. I am pleased to find the tent can be pitched with other camping gear in the bed. It will probably take 15 minutes or less next time. There is a gap for bugs at the tailgate, and limited usable space over tailgate.

Exactly what I was looking for

So far so good. Already used a few times, quality and seams are top notch, very easy setup and teardown with minimal travel space. Great being off the ground and the extra foot or so with the tailgate being down really makes a difference. Finally a place for my boots.

First time use on 2019 Toyota Tacoma with 6 ft bed.

The Truck Tent is great to get you off the ground. It took a few setups to get the right fit. If door zippers zip hard if the tent is not setup right. Door has a full screen. Side vents have zippered flaps. Top vent is always open. There is a rain shield that covers the side and top vents. If the rain shield is left loose the tent vents better. It stormed and rained and the truck bed was dry. I have a Access Tonneau cover and the tent fit over it fine. Overall a good product.

LOVE IT!

Love this tent which goes over my 2017 Toyota Tacoma truck. Easy to set up. Drawback if any is that it is not as strong when setting up. I learned from other owners that you can easily break tent rods. To overcome this issue, got to ensure all straps loose and slowly/gently place poles in place. Straps MUST go on side panels and not on metal frame or springs of truck. Doing so would be sure-fire way to break those tent rods or rip tent at seams.

Great tent!

The tent was easy to set up. The directions were easy to follow. The strap that was suppose to go in between the gate and the truck was an elastic strap the went around the gate and not between gate and truck. No big deal.

Tent review

This is the coolest tent I have ever purchased! Easy to put up although I think I should have bought one size down. Really holds in place and does a great job keeping up with rough winds. Can't wait for my next camping trip!!

3 quality problems with Rightline Gear Truck tent- Tacoma pickup

I selected Rightline because it was the only one without a built in floor, a feature I wanted. It arrived June 2019 and I set it up in my driveway just for a test run. One of the plastic clips for connecting the rain fly was cracked. I put duct tape on it. The fit for my truck was tight at the door such that it was difficult to open and close the zipper door. Recently in July 2019 I used the tent for the first time and the stretch cord broke in one pole. I plan to request a replacement.

Awesome

It's awesome easy to set up I can do it by myself in under 10 minutes. The only downside is it's not a perfect fit even tho I ordered the right size for my truck but it still works great.

Perfect for my truck

I'm really happy with this tent. I got the best deal her, and received it very quickly. The idea of being off of the ground is wonderful. Also the ability to put it up with out having to empty the bed of the truck. I'm super happy with this purchase.

Looks great, very tight fit.

Put this tent on my 2015 Colorado 5.2ft bed. It fits extremely tight, so tight I'm afraid it will rip somewhere. However, it looks great and kept us out of the elements and off the ground.

Perfect Fit for my Short Bed Frontier

I couldn't find very many options for a short bed Nissan Frontier, so I was a bit nervous when I ordered this tent. It was one of the more expensive tents for a Frontier, and I was concerned if it would fit, and if it did, if I would fit inside it (I'm right at six feet). However, the tent fits perfectly and looks great. The tent is pretty easy to set up; if you've set up any kind of tent before, you'll have no trouble figuring this one out.

A few small issues

First off the rent is awesome and I can't wait to use it on my summer trip. I set it up at home to ensure I knew what I was doing later and I noticed some of the seams were being stretched and almost ripping. Also one of the pole receiving pockets is ripped and doesn't hold the tent pole properly. I had my wife buy some heavy duty string and stitch it up but it shouldn't have come like that from the factory. Overall I think it's a great product but it just had a few small flaws.

Survived King Of The Hammers wind with minor rips.

The tent is great in the rain & wind. One of t problem is there is no advice on how much wind it can withstand, The tent did survive King Of The Hammers extreme desert climate, but I think there can be improvements to make a better product. The tent should have some kind of opening near the back window of the truck so that you feed your electrical devices as well as warm air from the trucks heater would be able to flow into the tent or even a tube that connects to heater to feed into the tent.
