Installation was very simple. Only one measurement was necessary. It is obvious where the brackets are to be placed. Six screws (self drilling) and it's done. I have a 3500 Silverado with a high bed, but I can still access the box from the ground when I swing it out.

These boxes are awesome....very easy to install and make great use of otherwise unused space....had them both installed in less than an hour. They have study metal brackets and the boxes are impact resistant plastic. I would recommend these to anyone as they dont interfere with inside bed space and they swing out enough for me to access them even with my tonneau cover on.

Overall the swing of this tool box is a big hit! Way easier to install than I thought. Even installed it over the factory spray liner of my 2018 Cheverolet Silverado. It still fit like custom. Looks good and I like that you can't see when you walk past my truck. I do recommend getting a pad lock when you install it.
