Put on 1999 f350 with a vr10000 winch.

Was supposedly made to fit 1999. required several minimal cuts to bumper to fit. Vr10000 was not on list of winches for this bumper kit so may be partly my fault. Took approx. 14 hours to install. Plastic trim kit is kind of needed but a rip off at $170.00. (4 pieces of plastic). Looks good when done but think I would just buy an after market winch bumper if I had to do it again.

Awesome

Ordered the hidden winch mount and I love it. A little tricky putting it on by yourself so I would suggest having another person there to help. The look, durability, and overall performance is awesome. I highly suggest getting one.

winch mount

very good product. i used it to install a warn xd9000i. it fits even though not mentioned.i just mounted winch upside down, but it works great, and no need to change operating lever..only had to drill new holes in support braces.very easy.only thing i don`t like is with the xd9000i the remote extender is to short to reach engine compatment.so i had to run it through middle of grill. also direction booklet had terrible pictures.but definately glad i purchased.

Winch mounting made easy

This mounting kit has everything that is needed to mount your winch, hidden and out of the way. It is very well made, and bolts right up. I would recommend this unit to anyone. The only issue that I have is, I had to modify the brace bars to fit, and to make sure that you line up and mark the air dam, before you cut the opening for the roller fairland.

Love the hidden mount, the M8000 winch however???

The mount is very well made. I have the means to build my own, however for the price you get a lot of parts. In the kit the supplied longer handle is to short. Also the handle had the wrong angle, and hit the frame of the mount, I had to bend it to be able to use it. If it were another couple of inches longer would be easier to use. I purchased the M8000, and its a good winch but some upgrades would be nice. There should be instructions to help you change the 'clock ' position for handle placement. and make the holder for the mounting nuts actually hold the nut. Otherwise good deal for a good price.

Warn Hidden Mount for 2004 Ford F-150

This is a beautifully engineered piece of equipment, and it's made in Oregon! The installation instructions are easy to follow. I was able to install this myself with the aid of a floor jack, and it fit in place easily. Warn has thought of everything to make installation a piece of cake, providing access ports for otherwise difficult-to-reach bolts, etc. They even include replacement battery bolts. Nothing is left to chance. I do wish it came with stainless mounting bolts and a roller fairlead instead of a hawse, but the Warn Hidden Mount is great unit that preserves the clean lines of a beautiful truck. My wife even likes it!
