I pulled my Warn M8000 after being on for 8 years. I used it heavily over the years and it served me well. Everything I read about the Smittybilt winch rated it just as tough as the Warn. I went with the 10K comp model with the synth line. It was easy to install and looks great. It runs very smooth and quiet. I'm very happy with this choice.

I received the winch the very next day i ordered it. I bought the winch for my 18' car trailer and so far it's pulled a S-10 and 4 door dodge car up with no problems. iI would recommend Mile Marker to anyone. Their slogan proves their product. Abused Worldwide

Works as advertised. Mounted an old REP8000(bought in '99) and it fit like a glove, can be used either in my front or my rear receiver. Probably will never need or use it, for my truck anyway, but have pulled a few heavier and larger trucks out of the mud and may need it for that in the future. 3 miles of mud out to the highway every monsoon season here in SE AZ.

Yeah, I had a shovel, axe and sledge and no room in my Jeep. This is a little pricey but worth it if you really off road. haven't used the pick yet but will find a reason. Well made and nice it stores in such little space. Don't be cheap with your Jeep - get it!

Pros; Good quality Good price for the size Looks good. Cons; Instructions suck! 1. Has you install winch first then wire it up. Problem is you have to hook up wires to back of winch (hard but possible) then wire to bottom of winch (impossible after installation). Also cable to battery is about 3" to short! 2. After I hooked it all up, plugged in controller and would not work! Had to go online and look up people with similar problems; turns out remote in finicky and you must push and twist.
