My wife and I were able to put these on the rear tires of SUV for the first time in about 30 minutes (including reading instructions). If we had to do again, probably could do in 10-15 minutes or so. That includes driving 100 yards and then tightening, as per the instructions. My point is that they're easy to put on, and seemed snug during our short initial test drive. Haven't actually used on snow/ice yet but I assume they'll work well. Quality seems high, and the case etc is nice.

Looks good, has everything you'd need but missed a few instructions for assembly. First- it's heavier than it looks so you may want some help moving it around during assembly. Second- centerpunch the spot you want to drill or your holes may not line up with the brackets and the self tapping bolts will be hard to install. Lastly the "self tapping bolts are hard to install" so you may want to get a real tap and tap the hole first. We haven't had Snow but I think it will save a lot of shoveling

This works well even though it's cheaply-made. In strong winds it is not that effective, but under normal & harsh winter weather, it makes getting going a little easier.
